Consent & Guidelines

our guidelines are NON-negotiable

BE AWESOME TO ONE ANOTHER

To help ensure an awesome experience for all, we put together some guidelines we believe should be standard behavior, not just at s3x-positive events but in all walks of life.

Whether dancing, experimenting, or observing, prioritize respect and awareness in every action. When in doubt, ask yourself, “Am I being awesome to others?” If not, you should rethink your actions; otherwise, it might lead to removal from the event.

Feeling unsafe due to someone’s behavior? Report issues to our Care Angels or a member of our crew (identified with badges) immediately. Whether you’re new to the scene or an experienced adventurer, come informed, ready to contribute, and let’s make it a night filled with positivity and s3xy debauchery.

serious talk now

what is consent?

Consent is an enthusiastic and clear yes — not just permission, but active agreement. Your body is yours. So is everyone else’s.
No touch without consent — Not a hug, not a touch on the shoulder, not anything. Ask first, every time. It’s that simple.

Everyone has different ways of saying yes and no, but consent means nothing less than an enthusiastic:

YES!

Consent is “CRISP”

C — Considered

Consent happens in a world shaped by power dynamics, systemic racism, and oppression. We can’t fully erase those forces, but we can acknowledge them and factor them in when deciding whether to give or withhold consent.

R — Reversible

You can change your mind at any time. A yes now doesn’t mean yes forever.

I – Informed

You need to know what you’re agreeing to. No surprises.

S — Specific

Yes to one thing isn’t yes to everything.

P — Participatory

Consent isn’t handed down — it’s built together. Everyone involved has an equal voice in what happens with and to their body.
