the shining guardians of KINKONISM
What is a care angel?
Every great movement needs guardians, ours are called Care Angels — a dedicated team of trained, approachable humans who move through the night with one purpose: to make sure everyone feels safe(r), respected, and free to be themselves.
They’re not security. They’re not judges. They’re the people who have your back, and are trained to handle sensitive situations with care and without judgment.
What do they do?
They educate, maintain a visible presence, and proactively approach guests.
They are available as supportive points of contact if someone feels uncomfortable or will proactively intervene when needed. Our goal is to create a safer space for everyone.

How to find them?
Look for the glowing halos and vests, you can’t miss them.
You will be greeted by our Angels at the door, sharing our guidelines.
Throughout the whole party, you can find them patrolling the floor or stationary in the main play areas.
If something didn’t feel right, tell us.
There’s no deadline to speak up. It can be done anonymously.

What we build at KINKONISM doesn’t stay at KINKONISM. Every trained care team member, every piece of content, every conversation we spark — it all ripples outward.

care team building & training
We recruit dedicated angels and provide thorough training based on a mix of our own materials, established consent practices, and community-based models like those from the Burning Man community.
We regularly offer additional trainings, including with organizations like Eve & Rave and Ranger programs. All angels are assessed to meet our standards, and their work is compensated.

social media education
We reach over 5,000 people — mostly right here in Zurich — with content that starts the conversation long before the doors open. Consent, play, sexuality, boundaries — we normalize these topics openly and without shame, so that by the time our community steps into one of our events, the groundwork is already laid.

BEYOND THE EVENT
We are committed to raising the standard for s3x-positive spaces. We educate our guests, and support other events across the scene with access to our trained care team and advise on how to build one. A safer night out, a safer existence everywhere — that’s the goal.
